Superheroes

We just started our new month, superheroes, with Mother Goose Time.  

We started off by looking at the monthly theme poster and talking about the different superhero clothes.  Elli liked the pug wearing a cape the best.  

Elli choose the superhero name, Elli the hero pug, for her name tag.  

She created her own superhero shield.

 And then used it to deflect cotton balls that I threw at her.  She was very happy that the shield worked and she didn't get hit once,

The best way to clean up glitter after a craft is by using playdough.  It picks it all up, and the girls love having glitter dough.  

Elli completed the page for the number 1 in her my little journal.

Elli completed the pages in her more math and literacy workbooks, which is an add on offered by Mother Goose Time.

She loves these books so much that she frequently asks to do extra pages.

 We finished up by using one of the magnetic wands included in this months box to fish for shapes.  Elli used the shapes to complete a shield puzzle.  I think she wound up redoing this about 8 times because she thought it was so fun.

 We finished up watching the suggested book of the day on youtube.
