The girls finished up their superhero costumes this week by making belts.
Mother Goose Time's curriculum includes all the materials needed to make the crafts. You just supply the basics like glue, markers, paints, etc.
Elli and I played a superhero game. We took turns rolling the foam die and counting out the spaces as we moved. Games are a good way to teach basic counting as well as taking turns and being a good sport.
The girls also played power match. They would each turn a set of cards, one had letters and one had pictures. If the letter sound matched the picture they each got a bingo chip to keep. Elli has recently taken an interest in figuring out what words start with, so this was a good game for her to practice with.
Elli completed pages in her my little journal and also her more math and literacy books.
We listened to The Most Magnificent Thing on youtube.
