We continued learning about farms by focusing on hay and mud. Elli really enjoyed playing Hayland. We took turns picking cards and moving to the appropriate space. Along the way we worked on number recognition and how to follow rules and take turns.
Elli worked on her letter recognition by matching upper case mud and lower case pigs. She needed some help matching animals to the letter they began with.
She also worked on making the letter H with the connector sticks that were included in this months Mother Goose Time box.
Elli completed the H and 2 page of her my little journal. We save these and she works on them all month long.
Elli really enjoyed creating her own masterpiece. She used a Monet painting for inspiration and used the provided materials how ever she wanted.
Our cows and horses also got a chance to eat and play in the hay.
We went outside and made mud pies, but because it was so windy Elli wanted to come back in. We used play dough as a substitute for mud and she had fun making and decorating different kinds of pies,
