Astronauts, Gravity and More

Yesterday we finished up our first month with Mother Goose Time.  We did so many fun things this past week.  The girls dressed as astronauts and then dressed their stuffed animals up like astronauts.  We talked about Russia, and how a dog was sent to space.  They flew their animals around the world map and made them land on Russia.

 Since we were talking about Russia and it's close to Easter Addie made a Faberge egg while Elli napped.

 They also made astronaut puppets.

We also learned about gravity.  The girls had so much fun pretending to float in space.

And run in space.

We also talked about space food and rocket ships.  The girls made their own rockets.

We finished the week with moon phases and finished up our scrapbooks.

The girls and I had so much fun learning about space this month.  I can't wait to start ocean commotion with them tomorrow.
